Helsinki's scene lives in a tight southern crescent. Punavuori and the Design District hold the aesthetic cafes, concept stores and natural-wine rooms the it-girl crowd cycles through; Kallio is the hip, terrace-heavy dinner-and-wine belt; the city centre (Kluuvi, Kaartinkaupunki, Esplanadi) stitches them together with the grand shopping loop and the cocktail cluster around Erottaja. In summer the whole thing moves outdoors, to Hietaniemi beach, the Espa lawns and the harbour saunas at Loyly and Allas. Base yourself in the south and everything is a walk or a short tram.
